Backdrop
As ConvergeOne prepared for its next stage of growth, the brand team needed to realign and modernize the company's visual identity. I was brought in to lead updates to the official C1 Brand Guidelines. This included refreshed messaging, a new color palette, updated icon styles, new campaign artwork, and clear direction on AI-generated imagery and photography treatments. The result was a 34-page PDF that brought structure, flexibility, and clarity to the evolving C1 brand.
Role
As lead designer, I worked closely with brand leadership and marketing to rethink and rebuild core elements of the identity system. My responsibilities included refining the color palette, developing updated photo treatments, creating a refreshed icon style, and writing clear, practical guidance for brand and campaign use. I also designed the full 34-page brand guidelines document, building a layout that was clean, accessible, and easy to follow. The goal was to create a modern, flexible system that maintained C1’s voice and helped teams apply the brand consistently across all channels.
Results
The new guidelines quickly became a go-to resource across the company. They helped unify campaign work, speed up collaboration, and provide consistency across teams and vendors. Creative teams had better tools to work with, and leadership had confidence that the brand was being applied with care and creativity. The system was designed to be flexible and evolving, with room for future messaging updates, visual refinements, and new creative standards. It set a clear baseline while allowing the brand to grow and stay aligned as new initiatives and campaigns roll out.
