I’m Scott Whipple, an Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer specializing in corporate event branding, marketing design, and trade show environments. Based in Charlotte, NC, I create bold, cohesive visuals that connect brands to their audiences across digital, print, and spatial experiences.

With a BFA in graphic design from Montserrat College of Art (’96), I’ve spent my career building impactful brand systems for companies like C1, 8x8, and FinancialForce (Now Certinia).

At C1, I led visual direction for flagship events like the Sales Kickoff, Summit, and Gartner conferences, delivering immersive environments, executive presentations, brand guidelines, and large-scale visuals that supported strategic brand goals. Partnering with marketing, I created a diverse range of assets including ebooks, social campaigns, leadership decks, and internal communications. A key project was the 2025 Sales Kickoff at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, where I helped develop a bold, cohesive visual identity across 60+ creative assets, resulting in an engaging experience that reflected the venue’s luxury and elevated C1’s brand storytelling.
8x8, Inc. | Art Director | Senior Graphic Designer
At 8x8, I led creative across multiple marketing channels, developing cohesivebrand systems and high-impact design assets for both internal and customer-facing initiatives.Delivered integrated marketing campaigns, executive presentations, ebooks, datasheets, swag, and large-scale event branding. Notable projects include the Nasdaq Bell Ringing, Analyst Events, and Channel Partner Conferences. These projects featured stage design, keynote visuals, and immersive branded experiences. Recognized with two Team8s MVP Awards and a Star Performer Award for excellence in collaboration and design leadership.
FinancialForce (Now Certinia) | Senior Graphic Designer
At FinancialForce, I led design across print, digital and experiential platforms, ensuring brand consistency across marketing campaigns and event environments. I created executive presentations, datasheets, signage systems, large-format graphics and branded swag. I played a key role in bringing events to life, including Dreamforce, Sales Kick-offs and Community Live. I managed end-to-end environmental branding, from site previews and design to print production and on-site installation. A highlight was designing an event at the Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, including visuals for the dinner and awards event held aboard the USS Midway aircraft carrier.
