8x8 Analyst Summit 2024
San Diego Zoo & The US Grant Hotel, San Diego
March 2024
Backdrop
Set across two iconic San Diego venues, the US Grant Hotel and the San Diego Zoo, the 8x8 Analyst Summit brought analysts, executives, and customers together for a full day of insight, connection, and brand storytelling. From product announcements and customer panels to executive roundtables, the event showcased 8x8’s innovation and customer-first approach. The unique setting of the Zoo’s Treetops venue added energy and personality to the experience.
Role
I led creative direction, design, and production of the event’s visual identity across both venues. This included developing keynote visuals, executive presentations, signage, swag, and environmental design. I created a custom event logo and graphics that blended 8x8’s brand language with animal-inspired elements and delivered animated slides, digital assets, name badges, banners, printed materials, and GOBOS. Partnering with internal teams and vendors, I ensured a cohesive, cost-efficient visual system that functioned seamlessly in a formal hotel ballroom and an open-air zoo environment.
Results
Designing for two dramatically different environments required adaptable assets, tight coordination on scale, lighting, and movement, and careful attention to visual continuity. The reception at the US Grant set the stage with animated visuals, curated lighting, and strong branding. The following day at the Zoo, that identity carried through flawlessly, from executive presentations to informal conversations, maintaining a consistent message while adding unique character through its one-of-a-kind setting.
